Description
A terrace of three cottages, originally two, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. The cottages have roughcast walls, a hipped thatched roof, and brick stacks running along the ridge. One section is one storey and attic in height, while another is single-storey. The left-hand cottage (No. 1) has a door in the gable wall. The front has three casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, and two part-dormers with matching casements in the attic. A six-panel door is set within an open timber porch, which serves as the entrance to the third cottage (No. 3). The rear section of No. 3 is a 20th-century flat-roofed block, connected to the terrace by a passage. The right-hand cottage (No. 2) has a part-glazed door and three casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, with two pent-dormers and similar casements in the attic. The rear section of No. 3 is not considered to be of special architectural or historic interest.
