Description

ARNE CORFE ROAD SY 9286 STOBOROUGH, EAST SIDE 11/8 Nos 41 and 43 (Bosun's Cottage) GV II Pair of cottages, - possibly originally one house. Probably early C18. Walls - lower part rubble stone, upper part plastered cob. Thatched roofs, brick centre stack. One storey and attic. Front wall buttressed. No 41 has C20 part-glazed door. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has one half dormer with horizontally sliding sashes with glazing bars. No 43 has stable type door. Ground floor has 3 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has two half dormers with horizontally sliding sashes with glazing bars. Single storey extension on south, of stone, with thatched roof.
