Description

Lovers' Walk is a pair of cottages, originally three, dating from the 17th century or earlier. They are timber-framed but mostly refronted in rubble stone, featuring a thatched roof with end stacks and standing at one and a half storeys tall.

Cottage No. 1, located on the left, has an eyebrow dormer above two casement windows with red brick in between, along with a pair of casement windows and a door on the ground floor. The rear of this cottage includes an early 20th-century red brick wing, but heavy timber framing is exposed on the left side.

Cottage No. 2 features two doors with a two-light cyma-moulded flush mullion window situated between them, and both doors are sheltered by stone-slated wooden porches. The rear of this cottage has two eyebrow dormers and mullion windows, with two two-light windows above and a three-light and a two-light window below.
