Description

No 8 is an attached cottage dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features roughcast walls with raised plaster quoins and a thatched roof, along with brick end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high. The ground floor has a 20th-century glazed door and two casement windows with glazing bars. The first floor has three similar windows. There is a later two-storeyed rear wing constructed in a similar style. Inside, the main ground floor room includes a large open fireplace with a timber lintel and some exposed ceiling beams.
