Description

Apple Garth is a cottage located at the rear of No 17 on North Street in Bere Regis. It is probably from the 18th century, though it may have earlier origins. The building features plastered walls and a thatched roof, with brick stacks at both ends and in the center. It is two storeys tall. The entrance consists of a panelled door beneath a simple canopy. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars and one small plain window. The first floor has three casement windows, also with glazing bars. There are single-storey extensions on the north and east sides, which have plastered walls and slate roofs.
