Description
These are a group of four cottages, numbered 3 to 6, built in 1615, with alterations in the 19th century. The cottages have two storeys. Nos 3 and 4 have a slightly higher frontage and a higher roofline than Nos 5 and 6. Nos 3 and 4 have a slate gabled roof, while Nos 5 and 6 have a tiled gabled roof. The walls are of stone, coursed, with the upper part of Nos 3 and 4 being brick. Each cottage has one window bay, except for No 6, which has two. The windows are small, with two-light and three-light panes; the windows in No 3 have been altered. The cottages have wooden boarded doors, found at Nos 4, 5, and 6.
