Description

No 65 on St James Street is a late 17th century or early 18th century building that adjoins No 63. It features a two-storey ashlar front with altered windows, originally designed with four windows. The building has a plain door-hood that is in poor repair and has been modernized. There is a string course and a moulded stone eaves cornice above. The roof is covered with plaintiles. Above the doorway, there is a small oval window and a 'Sun' insurance plaque. Nos 55 to 67 (odd) form a group.
