Description
The building at 73 St James Street is a two-storey, two-window structure dating from 1615, with later alterations in the 19th century. It has a modern pantile gabled roof. The front is rendered up to ground floor, where it is rusticated. The windows and doorway have segmental heads, and the wider ground-floor windows feature narrow, rusticated voussoirs. A further similar voussoir is visible at the right-hand end of the doorway. The building is listed for group value, contributing to the character of numbers 69 to 95 (odd) on St James Street.
