Description

These are a pair of cottages dated to the late 18th century and early 19th century, similar in style to number 43 on St James Street. They are constructed with stone rubble facades and have thatched roofs. Each cottage has a single window bay and a doorway.

The cottages are part of a wider group, with stone sets located outside numbers 35 to 39 (odd) and near the pump. A dwarf wall and railings enclose a courtyard on the street side, containing a pump in the centre.
