Description

No 35 on St James Street is a building dating from 1615. It features a gable end facing the road, which displays the Grosvenor crest and the date 1862. The structure is two storeys high with two windows and has a slate gabled roof. The exterior is constructed from squared rubble or rough ashlar. The windows have segmental heads with brick voussoirs, and there is a wooden boarded door.

This building is part of a group that includes Nos 35 to 53 (odd), with stone setts outside Nos 35 to 39 (odd) and a pump located in the centre of the court. A dwarf wall and railings enclose the court on the street side.
