Description

This is an 18th-century building located at the north end of a courtyard on the north side of St James Street. It is a two-story, three-window fronted structure. The roof is thatched. The windows are casements with small panes of glass, and the central doorway has an 18th-century hood. The front is constructed of stone rubble. The building is part of a larger group that includes numbers 35 to 53 (odd), with stone setts outside numbers 35 to 39 (odd) and around the pump. A dwarf wall and railings enclose the courtyard on the street side.
