Description
Pine Tree Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is built with cob on a brick plinth and has a thatched roof, half-hipped on the right side, with brick ridge and end stacks. The house has a 3-room plan, with the entrance to the left of the central hall and kitchen, and a service room to the right. It is two storeys high and has a 3-window front. The thatched roof extends over a porch with a 19th-century plank front door. Late 19th or 20th-century two-light casement windows are present. A mid-to-late 19th-century single-storey extension to the rear right is built of brick with a slate roof. The interior was noted to contain original beams and other features.
