Description

Waterside Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and is three bays wide, with a central door set within a timber porch. The windows are timber paned casements, although there have been alterations that added two extra windows on the ground floor. A flush vitrified plinth band runs along the base of the cottage. There are gable stacks on the roof. At both ends of the cottage, there are extensions that are also thatched and hipped, with waney boarded cladding. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to at the rear.
