Description

Brook Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof, with colour-washed pebbledash on the sides and rear. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central bay contains a six-panelled door with a simple bracketed canopy, located off centre opposite the stair. There is an axial stack in the central bay, and to the left is a third bay that now serves as the kitchen. The cottage has an offset brick plinth and casement windows with gauged brick lintels, along with boarded false shutters.
