Description

Priory Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Andover Road in Upavon. It is constructed of stone with brick quoins and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with the facade having been rebuilt in the late 18th to early 19th century. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door that is sheltered by a bracketed canopy, flanked by canted sash windows with lead roofs. The upper floor contains 16-pane sash windows made with crown glass, along with smaller casement windows. The roof is hipped, and there is an external stack on the right side. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century two-storey brick lean-to.
