Description

Tudor Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage with later additions, located on the north side of Church Hill in Saxlingham Nethergate. The building is constructed from colour-washed brick and features both thatched and pantiled roofs. It is one storey high with an attic and has four 18th-century three-light windows that include metal casements, leaded lights, and some original spring latches. The ground floor windows are set beneath skewback arches and rectangular hood moulds. There are two gabled dormers with decorative barge boards, along with two planked doors and a lean-to porch. The cottage has an off-centre axial stack topped with two highly decorative moulded brick shafts from the 19th century. There are also later side extensions.
