Description

Adelaide House is a circa 1700 former public house, originally known as the Queen Adelaide Inn. It is a rendered timber-frame building with one brick gable end. The building has two storeys and originally three bays, featuring original two-light mullion and transom windows with metal casements. The westernmost bay has a raised and fielded panelled door, with the top two lights of a previous window forming a fanlight above. The east gable is curvilinear, with a stack. A later lean-to addition on one side has a crow-stepped parapet.
