Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick that has been colour-washed, and it features slate roofs. The building stands two storeys high and has three main bays, with an additional recessed bay to the right. The entrance consists of a boarded door located behind a 20th-century gabled porch, which is flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars and sills, all set beneath flat gauged brick arches. On the first floor, there are four similar sash windows. The cottage has an end stack on the left side and plain close verges.
