Description
No. 15 is a house located on Eastgate in Newbald, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and has a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays.
The ground floor includes a 20th-century boarded door with an overlight that has vertical glazing bars on the left, and double boarded doors on the right, set within a cart access. Flanking the left door are 4-pane sash windows with sills, all of which are topped with flat gauged brick arches. There is an infilled doorway to the left of the cart access.
On the first floor, there are three similar sash windows, also beneath flat brick arches. The house has a dentilled brick eaves cornice, with end and axial stacks, and raised coped gables.
