Description

No. 21 Market Place is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with rendered ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof with gable stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, presenting a four-bay front. The doorway is located to the left and features a glazed door with glazing bars and a plain overlight, topped by a stucco wedge lintel. To the left of the door is a glazing bar sash window, with two more glazing bar sashes to the right. Above, there are four glazing bar sashes, all of which have wedge stucco lintels. The roof includes four dormer windows with flat heads and small glazing bar sashes.
