Description
The Tiger Public House is a late 18th-century public house located on the west side of The Green in Newbald. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a colour-washed exterior with a pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three bays, with the centre bay slightly projecting forward. The entrance consists of a door with six bolection-moulded panels set within a pilastered doorcase, topped by a canopy supported on fluted brackets. On the ground floor, there are four-pane sash windows with sills, positioned under wedge lintels, on either side of the entrance. The first floor has three similar sash windows, also beneath wedge lintels. All windows are fitted with louvred shutters. The building has plain close verges and end stacks.
