Description

Riverside Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-unit plan, likely with a lobby entry, and stands two storeys high. The front has a two-window range of casement windows with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows set under brick arches. There is a central six-panelled door that is sheltered by a 20th-century thatch porch, and a central brick chimney stack. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have chamfered ceiling beams and an open fireplace.
