Description

Paddock Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit plan and stands three storeys high, with a two-window range that includes 19th-century iron casements with diamond panes and wooden lintels. A 20th-century central porch leads to a 20th-century plank door. The cottage has ashlar gable parapets with moulded kneelers and brick stacks located at the ridge and the ends. To the left, there is a 19th-century extension that has 20th-century windows, and the rear also features 20th-century windows.
