Description
Elm Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a one-window range that includes 18th-century stone mullions fitted with cast iron diamond panes. The entrance is located to the left, in a 19th-century extension. The cottage has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with brick stacks at the ridge. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear.
