Description

Stockwell is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range of casements that have glazing bars and are set under flat arch heads. There is a central 20th-century door, also under a flat arch head. The house has large ashlar quoins and retains some remains of an ashlar gable parapet. Brick stacks are located at both ends of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
