Description
The Old Vicarage is a mid-18th century vicarage that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a four-window range. To the right of the centre, there is a six-panelled door with a fanlight above it, which has a plain arch head. The ground floor windows are 19th century tripartite sashes set beneath plain arch heads, while the first floor windows are 19th century sashes with wooden lintels. There is evidence of refenestration to the left of the door. The building is adorned with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with large brick and stone stacks at the ridge and ends. There are 19th century extensions at the rear. Although the interior was not inspected, it was noted that the ground floor rooms have fielded panelled shutters.
