Description

The Manor House is a late 18th-century manor house located on Northampton Lane in Moulton. It is constructed of regular coursed lias stone with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan. The garden front features a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panelled door within a moulded wood doorcase, including panelled reveals. Flanking the door are canted bay windows with sash windows and glazing bars. The first-floor sash windows also have glazing bars, flat arches, and ashlar surrounds. The building has ashlar gable parapets, kneelers, and brick stacks at the ends. The right side elevation is similar, with a two-window range of sashes with glazing bars, and a six-panelled door to the left, also with a moulded wood doorcase. The rear elevation features arch-headed windows with glazing bars and brick surrounds.
