Description
Parade House is a house dating from 1658, as indicated by the datestone IMW/1658. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof. The house originally had a three-unit plan and is two storeys high. The front has a four-window range of casements with leaded diamond panes, all set under wooden lintels. There are two six-panelled doors located between the windows, with the door on the left featuring a 19th-century slated hood. The gable ends have ashlar parapets, and there are brick stacks at the ridge and end of the building. The right gable has been partially rebuilt in the 20th century. The datestone on the left gable displays a clover leaf pattern. At the rear, there is a thatched wing that is probably from the early 18th century. The interior has not been inspected.
