Description

Sarsen Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It features stone rubble panels with brick dressings and has a thatched roof. There is a brick ridge stack located to the right of the center and an end stack on the left. The cottage has a 3-unit lobby-entry plan and is two stories high with a four-window range. A 19th-century plank door leads to a 19th-century brick porch, which has a gabled thatch roof and is positioned to the right of the center. All openings have 3-light casements with leaded lights, except for a blind panel above the porch. There is an illegible date stone on the right return gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
