Description
Charmwood is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof. The house has a 18th-century stone stack finished in brick on the left end and a 20th-century stack on the right end. It has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic, comprising a two-window range. There are flat brick arches over a central late 19th-century plank door set in a heavy pegged frame from the 18th century, along with 19th-century three-light casements and a similar dormer casement. To the left, there is a 20th-century one-storey extension. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
