Description

Baytree is a house located on Abingdon Road in Standlake, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with a refacing in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled thatch roof with brick end stacks. It has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. The late 19th-century alterations include timber lintels above a central half-glazed door and two above three-light casements. To the left, there is a late 19th-century one-storey service range. Inside, the house has boxed beams.
