Description
Peartree House is a mid-18th century house with alterations from the 19th century, situated on the south side of Standlake High Street. The house is constructed of squared and coursed limestone, with a gabled concrete tile roof and a brick end stack. It follows a two-unit plan and has two storeys and a two-window front. A bracketed flat hood shelters the centrally located 20th-century front door. The windows are 19th-century three-light casements, with central opening lights, except for the 20th-century panes to the left. A two-storey rear extension, built in the early 19th century and using similar materials, extends from the rear. The interior was not inspected, but retaining old moulding beads was noted.
