Description
Ford Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features a stone rubble and brick plinth, with square-panel timber framing and painted brick infill. The roof is thatched and half-hipped, with two brick stacks positioned to the left of center and a brick ridge stack to the right. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. To the left of center, there is a plank door that is sheltered by an open timber-framed porch. The windows are irregularly arranged casements with leaded lights. There are swept dormers on the left and right, and a gabled dormer with an old plain-tile surround and roof is located to the right of center. The interior has not been inspected.
