Description
The Old Stable and attached barn is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Drayton St Leonard. The building features painted brick on the ground floor center, with render—likely on timber framing—on the right side. The left side showcases large timber framing with painted brick infill on both the ground and first floors. It has an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the left, and a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of center. The structure is two stories high and has a four-window range, with a 20th-century half-glazed door to the right.
Attached to the farmhouse is a barn that is oriented at right angles to the rear, probably dating from the late 17th century. This barn also features large timber framing with brick infill and an old plain-tile roof. It consists of four bays and has a gabled midstrey to the left of center. The interior of both the farmhouse and the barn has not been inspected.
