Description
Little Garden Cottage is a 17th-century cottage featuring painted brick on the ground floor and large timber framing with rendered panels above. It has a thatched roof and a brick end stack on the left side. The cottage has a single cell plan, is single storey with an attic, and has a single-window range. There is a plank door with a 20th-century open porch to the left and a 2-light casement window to the right. The centre has a swept dormer with a 2-light casement.
There are single storey wings on both the left and right. The left wing has large timber framing with rendered infill and a hipped thatch roof, featuring a single-light casement window. The right wing consists of a single bay of weatherboarded timber framing with a hipped thatch roof. Inside, there is an open fireplace on the ground floor and a winder staircase leading from the ground floor to the attic. The roof structure features queen post construction with one windbrace visible.
