Description
White Cottage is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century, with a 20th-century addition on the right side. The ground floor has painted render, which is probably covering timber framing, while the first floor features large timber framing in the center. The roof is thatched, and there are rebuilt brick ridge stacks on both the left and right of the center. The building is single storey with an attic and has a four-window range. A 20th-century glazed door is located on the left, and the ground floor has irregularly placed casement windows along with 20th-century bay windows. There are four swept dormers on the roof. At the rear, timber framing is visible on the ground floor. Inside, there are open fireplaces on the ground floor and chamfered spine beams.
