Description
Waterside House is an early 17th-century house featuring irregular large timber framing with brick infill. The ground floor has a mixture of stone rubble and brick, topped by an old plain-tile roof. A massive stone end stack with a brick flue is located on the right side. The house is two stories high with a two-window range. On the left side, there is a three-light diamond leaded casement window, while the right side has a bay window with diamond leaded casements. The first floor includes two three-light wood mullion and transom windows, also with diamond leaded lights. The right return is finished in painted stone rubble, and there is a 20th-century door leading to a cross-wing at the rear. The left return features lined render, likely over timber framing. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
