Description

The Old Forge is a house, likely built in the early 18th century. It features large timber framing with rendered infill in the center, and rendered surfaces, probably on brick, to the left and right. The roof is thatched, with brick ridge stacks located to the left and right of the center, and an end stack to the right. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a three-window range that runs at right angles to the street. There is a 20th-century glazed door to the left of center and a plank door leading to a porch at the center. The windows show irregular placement and consist of casements, with three swept dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
