Description

This building, originally a house and now divided into two dwellings, was likely constructed in the mid-18th century, with subsequent alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of plum brick with red brick dressings, and has an old plain-tile roof with a brick end stack on the left side. The building is two storeys high with a three-window front. The central part features two plank doors set within segmental brick-headed arches. The left and right sides have 19th-century three-light casement windows with segmental brick beads. A flat brick sill band runs along the first floor. The first floor has three-light casement windows on the left and right, and a sundial is set within a recessed panel in the centre of the first floor. The interior remains uninspected. A red-brick addition with an old plain-tile roof has been added to the right. This two-storey, single-bay addition has three-light casement windows to both the ground and first floors, and a passageway is located to its right.
