Description

A house, built in the mid-17th century, now divided into two dwellings. The ground floor is red brick, while the first floor has a timber frame with brick infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and a brick stack is centrally located at the ridge. Originally likely a two-unit lobby-entry plan, the building has since been altered. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The centre has a C20 lean-to porch with two plank doors. There’s a three-light, leaded wood casement window on the first floor centre, and a three-light gabled eaves dormer to the left. To the right is a three-light gabled half-dormer. The right gable end exhibits a double Queen-post roof truss. The interior was not inspected.
