Milestone. Probably mid C19. Limestone ashlar. Rectangular stone with moulded cornice surmounted by a ball finial. Inscription "Stanford on Avon. co. Northampton 3/4, Stanford Hall, co. Leicester 1, Swinford 2, Rugby 7 1/2, Lutterworth 5 1/2". Erected adjacent to Stanford-on-Avon parish boundary. Forming a pair with milestone at SP 5940 7789 (q.v.) and similar to milestones at SP 6170 7813 and SP 6168 7814, Stanford-on-Avon Road, Elkington (q.v.).
