Description
This milestone, located ¾ meters south west of the village on the B5414 at the junction with Stanford Road, dates from the 18th century. It is made of ashlar limestone and has a square shape with a moulded cornice. The milestone is inscribed with various distances on three sides, including distances to Stanford Hall (1¼ miles), Market Harborough (10½ miles), and Daventry (12 miles). There are also 19th-century inscriptions, such as Rugby Station (8 miles).
