Description
The second courtyard to the stable block, which includes a chapel, smithy, and attached walls, dates back to 1737 and is constructed of brick. To the west, there are two similar buildings, the chapel and the smithy, which are connected by a short wall that features a gate, creating a symmetrical arrangement.
On the right side is the former smithy, which has a hipped and gabled plain tile roof and a dentilled cornice. The east front has three bays, with former entrances on the left that have segmental arches with keystones, although these are now blocked. To the right, there is a gabled bay that slightly projects, featuring a doorway with a cambered arch flanked by two small windows, also with cambered arches. Above this doorway is a loft door, and in the gable above that, there is a small oval window. The chapel block on the left mirrors the design of the smithy closely.
Attached to the north is the former cart house range, which also has a dentilled cornice and a corrugated iron roof. There is a 20th-century fake doorway that aligns with those of the main block. To the east, there is a brick wall with plain gate piers and wrought iron gates.
