Description

Milestone, probably 19th century, made of limestone ashlar. It is a plain rectangular block featuring the inscription "Cold Ashby 3, Thornby 4, Guilsborough 3 1/2, NORTHAMPTON 15". This milestone is located adjacent to the Stanford-on-Avon parish boundary. It forms a pair with another milestone nearby and is similar to other milestones located on Stanford-on-Avon Road in Clay Coton.
