Description
Bridge Number 36 is an accommodation bridge located on the Grand Union Canal, likely built around 1815 for the Grand Junction Canal Company. Constructed of brick, it features a single arch and has parapets with bullnosed brick copings. At each end, there are square piers topped with ashlar copings. A raised brick string course runs below the parapet. This bridge is noted for being a complete example of a canal bridge.
