Description
Bridge Number 29 is an accommodation bridge located on the Grand Union Canal, likely built around 1815 for the Grand Junction Canal Company. It is constructed of brick and features a single arch. The bridge has parapets with bullnosed brick copings and square piers at each end topped with ashlar copings. A raised brick string course runs below the parapet. This bridge is noted for being a complete example of a canal bridge.
