Description

Ivy Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the west side of The Street in Milton Lilbourne. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high and has two bays, with a central stack. The entrance consists of an off-centre boarded door that has been reset. The windows are small casements with two and three panes, with alterations made to create three-light windows on the ground floor. A flush vitrified plat band of blue headers runs along the building. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a brick stack. The right bay has been extended to the rear in the 20th century and is also half-hipped. Additionally, a lean-to has been added to the rear of the left bay.
