Description

The gates and gatepiers to the Manor House, located on the west side of The Street in Milton Lilbourne, date from the 18th century. They are positioned on the central axis of the Manor House. The gate piers are made of ashlar limestone, featuring necking moulding and moulded caps that support ball finials. The wrought-iron gates have dog rails and braces, with all rails adorned with fleur finials. There is a brick junction piece that connects to the boundary wall.
