Description
The Vinery is a house that features early 19th-century alterations to an 18th-century building. It is constructed of brick and has a slated roof. The house is two storeys high with large attics and consists of three bays. It has a central hall plan with a six-panelled door located under a raking tiled porch supported by cut brackets, accessed by seven steps. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows with brick lintels that have cambered soffits. The first floor has twelve-pane casement windows, and above the door, there are single hung sash windows. The mansard roof includes large 20th-century sixteen-pane sash windows. The house features gable stacks and has a very large rear lean-to from the 19th century that extends up to the ridge.
