Description
Upper Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-bay front and a two-storey, two-bay extension on the right side. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, with the upper panels being glazed, set within a reeded doorcase and canopy. There are paired 12-pane sash windows, and a 16-pane window above the door, all featuring 15-inch gauged brick lintels. The house has two hipped dormers and gable stacks that were raised in the 19th century. The extension was originally a single-storey structure that has been raised to two storeys. The windows include leaded and paned designs.
